"i did it..."
... is what my son says every time he does anything, from throwing something in the trash for me to eating all of his food, but now it's my turn to use his phrase. "i did it" last week was my seventh week of my training and on Tuesday i did fifteen wind sprints with a couple of breaks between them, and then proceeded to run for twenty minutes on Thursday with the kids and the double stroller with out stopping. that is a huge accomplishment. i don't think i could have done that even two weeks prior. so this week starting today i will be doing seventeen wind sprints and on Thursday running again for 25-30 minutes. not sure how long yet but will find out today. i also made plans to run on Saturday morning with my friend Katie for 20 minutes or so, she's in better shape than me so it will be a good experience, and challenging. i also am on a 1800 calorie a day food plan, saying food plan sounds less restricting than "diet", and the truth is that it's all about planning what you're going to eat and making your calories really count for you.

five weeks five long weeks
okay, so this is the start of my fifth week with my double stroller and my personal trainer, aka my brother Jesse,. so we are in what my brother calls cycles, three week cycles to be exact,. i am at the start of my second week in my second cycle. in my first cycle i lost four pounds, i won't weigh myself until the end of this second cycle so not till june twelfth will there be any more stats. today is a shopping day and tomorrow is my hard walking day. i have two forty minute walks to finish tomorrow and my morning one is going to be a super duper fast power walk. over the weekend i went to the Rock N' Roll Marathon to watch my sister in law run it and i definitely came away inspired to run it next year. i don't really have a goal except to be running full time by Halloween or the beginning of October, but man after seeing all those old grandparents kicking ass at the marathon i felt very inspired. you should have seen the huge grins me and my husband had on our faces after we saw a mom with a jogging stroller run past us, it was awesome.
